The requirement sought by the client was a classical structure for the elevation of the building that many architects of Hyderabad designed, but finally, the owners of Officers’ mess selected the design from Iconoclast Innovations based on our ability to understand the concepts of classical and modern designs profoundly and delivering the project before the given time as done previously for the interior ceiling work of the same building. Iconoclast Innovations came with a remarkably unique and classical ACP design with ACP carved Jali, including concealed module LED lights, profile lights, and designer WPC designs on the elevation.
We had 30 days to accomplish this project which was relatively less time. Generally, 45 to 60 days is needed to complete this project as the place is an event hall; there were bookings scheduled after that 30 days, and we had a deadline on the 30th day, and Iconoclast Innovations executed it during the month of Ramadan, the biggest challenge was that the workers were fasting during the day and working whole night moreover their availability was inadequate and it also affected timings during this month. Although we managed to complete it in 30 days, that distinguished us from other peers.
As soon as the owners liked our designs and finalized them, we started the groundwork for the items which we installed as they were rare and unique, including antique classical lights; for ex:- Premium color Cream beach ACP, which was ordered from Punjab, the carving on jalis was also the difficult part during the process, Rajasthani craftsmen did the carving on jalis, designer WPC crafting with waterproof and high glossy paint.
The process started with iron framing on the entire area of 2200 sqft with heavy gauge iron pipes for the strong support of elevation; this process took a week, and soon the iron cladding was done, followed by aluminum cladding for installation of ACP sheets. Aluminum is attached using screws to the entire iron cladding for the perfect alignment of ACP sheets, and also aluminum is used to show the projection of design on the facade.
After completing the aluminum pipes cladding, we started the ACP sheets cladding of Cream beach ACP sheets on the elevation. On the other hand, the electricians did the electrical work, i.e., the fixing of module lights on the inner ACP sheets and the electrical wiring in the warehouse, as they were 15000 led modules attached to the ACP sheets and 200-meter profile lights which were being made ready to install it inside the facade for the bright lights which reflects out of the designer metallic bronze-colored ACP carved Jali which was done by the team of electrical engineers. After the ACP cladding was completed, we started the fixing of LED module sheets which were ready for the installation inside the elevation; the team of technicians was deployed at the site, and they continued the work for 10 days for the electrical wiring power supply connections to all modules and profile lights. Meanwhile, we fixed the designer WPC brackets and balconies on the elevation, crafted by Rajasthani craftsmen, which enhanced the beauty and gave the elevation the perfect vintage look that the owner sought. We specially ordered the silicon in the same color as the ACP sheet to give a natural and clean finish to the ACP and the entire elevation.
Today Officers’ mess function plaza stands tall as it’s the first ACP classical structure in Telangana combined with the lighting and design.
